I created this boot by using the line segment tool. I first made the shape of the boot with the main vertical lines. I decided to add a bit more detail by creating shoe laces with intersecting diagonal lines, as well as I created the heel of the boot with horizontal lines. I used different lines on the laces and heel so that they would stand out. Those are the first things that I would like the viewer to notice because they are what make it actually seem like a boot instead of a sock.
To create this bottle I used the paint brush tool and mostly used horizontal lines. I did help myself by creating a border with a series of diagonal and vertical lines to smoothen the edges, but I took them out because I wanted the vertical lines alone to create the illusion of the bottle. What I intended for the viewer to see first is the label along with the bottle cap. Those details make it seem more like a bottle as well as the rounded bottom.
I created this mug by using the pencil tool to make horizontal lines that would shape it into a mug. For the mug I did leave the borders because I felt it needed that detail, even though I could still see the mug shape without the borders. For this drawing there wasn't one small particular piece I intended the viewer to see first, because it is more of the overall shape.
For the spray bottle I once again use the line tool to create the shape, and I also left the borders to give it more definition. I used a series of diagonal lines going different ways on the different parts of the bottle. I did this to create a clear distinction among the different parts which was the concept for this drawing I was intending for the viewer to be able to see the different parts of the bottle all together.
The tea kettle was also created using the line segment tool and similarly to the spray bottle, I used a combination of diagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines to distinguish among the different parts of it. I also added small details like having to horizontal lines almost together at the bottom to show the bottom border of the tea kettle, or leaving a border at the top of the handle. The concept behind this was similar to the one with the spray bottle. I want the viewer to notice where every part separates. This is why I added that border containing diagonal line at the bottom of the lid.
