Week 5 Letter Drawings

To create these letters I mainly used the direct selection tool. I started off by working on the straight letters first and began by selecting an anchor point and dragged it over to the anchor point right next to it. I felt like this gave the letters a cool new edgy look. The curved letters were a bit harder to do, so I had to use the same tool to move the path's a bit, but they did have a resemblance of the straight letters. Once I was done modifying the paths I needed to change the color. This time I wanted to experiment a bit, so even though I kept the same blue color, I decided to use a gradient for these letters. It was a bit hard to figure out at first but once I did it looked good and this is what I ended up with.
